These new models, the F-250 and F-350, receive new interior and exterior designs, a slew of new tech, and several new powertrain options. What's New for 2023?

The Ford F-250 and F-350, now known as Super Duty pickups, receive updated engines and upgraded looks for the new model year. Now the 7.3-liter V-8 has revised air intake, and an all-new 6.7-liter V-8 diesel engine is available. New "C-clamp" lighting and functional side vents are also new on the exterior.

Venture inside the cabin, and you'll find the dashboard is redesigned. There's a new digital instrument cluster and a 12-inch infotainment display. Also new on the XLT and Lariat models is standard all-wheel drive.

Performance

Three engine options are available for the new Super Duty trucks - each is attached to a 10-speed automatic transmission. These engines include:

  • 6.8-liter gasoline 385 horsepower V8
  • 7.3-liter gasoline 500 hp V8
  • 6.7-liter turbocharged 475 hp diesel V8

As for its hauling and towing capabilities, the Super Duty has a max payload of 8,000 pounds and a tow rating of 40,000 pounds!

Technology

Coming standard in the base XL model is an eight-inch touchscreen, though higher trims will feature a 12-inch display. A 5G Wi-Fi hotspot is also available, as is an eight-speaker audio system. Though an 18-speaker stereo is optional. Additional features include two 110-volt household-style outlets and massaging front seats.

Safety

For the new Super Duty models, Ford has incorporated several advanced driver-aids. Standard safety features include several trailering features and adaptive cruise control. In higher trims, drivers will find automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and a 360-degree camera.
