Ford Escape
The Ford Escape is a standard small SUV with two hybrid engines, a standard hybrid setup, and a plug-in hybrid powertrain. The standard hybrid setup delivers 192 horsepower and all-wheel drive, while the plug-in hybrid outputs 210-hp and uses front-wheel drive. Both setups average about 40 -41 mpg respectively. Additionally, drivers can find features like an eight-inch touchscreen, a navigation system, and evasive steering assistance.
Ford F-150 & F-150 Lightning
The F-150 is an iconic pickup and the most popular truck. One of the features many people love about the F-150 is its diverse engine options, one of which is a hybrid powertrain. Called Ford PowerBoost, this powertrain combines a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with an electric motor and a battery pack to produce 430 hp, 24 mpg combined, and 12,700 pounds of towing capacity.
More recently, Ford unveiled the F-150 Lightning, an all-electric version of its flagship pickup. This EV uses a 98-kWh battery pack and dual electric motors to give the truck all-wheel drive and a power output of 452 horsepower. There’s even an optional 131-kWh battery that boosts the horsepower to 580. These powertrains allow the Lightning to tow between 7,700 and 10,000 pounds and get a range of 230 and 320 miles.
Ford Mustang Mach-E
The all-electric Mustang Mach-E features an engaging performance, zero emissions, and various features. Its power output and range depend on the trim and drive train, so drivers could get a base model that offers 266 hp but has between 224 and 247 miles of range. They could even get the highest trim, which can output 480 hp but has a range between 260 and 270 miles.
